Dr. Carlson was born and raised in Northern Utah. Following his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University, he attended Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry graduating in the top of his class. During his training he gained a passion to provide dental care at the highest level. He pursued any opportunity to develop his clinical skills and was often involved in extracurricular clinical courses beyond the already rigorous curriculum.

Upon graduation he was the recipient of a number of awards, including the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, Quintessence of Periodontology Award, and he was welcomed into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He enjoys staying up to date on new dental technology and techniques. He has taken many continuing education courses and has developed skills in dental implants, Invisalign, and cosmetic smile design.

Dr. Carlson has practiced in Oregon, Utah and now Washington. He and his wife Jenna are happy to be living closer to her family in Snohomish County. They could not ask for a better community to call home than Lake Stevens! They love the beauty of the PNW and all that this area has to offer. When Dr. Carlson is not in the office he can be found spending time with his wife, two beautiful kids and their dog. He enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, watching basketball, and trying new restaurants.
